Max Distance per Route (km) Hard cap per trip. Soft target below is preferred; hard max only when unavoidable.

Soft Distance Target (km) Prefer keeping most routes at or below this (e.g. 64 = 80% of an 80 km hard cap).

Allow Multi-Trips (Second Trips) Vehicles can return to depot and reload for a 2nd trip when shift time & distance allow. Disable for pure single-trip (1 trip per vehicle) routing.

Target Vehicle Fill (%) Best-effort fill by weight or drop count. Under-filled trucks are topped up or downsized when possible.

Minimum Route Utilization (%) Floor for route utilization (default 60%). Sparse routes below this threshold are merged or consolidated.

Trip Loading Times

1. Initial Load at Dock (min) First trip only — truck loaded and departs when ready. Scales down for partial loads.

2. Reload Between Trips (min) After each return — driver break + reload before the next route. Scales down for partial loads.

Loading Bays (Max Simultaneous)

Minimum Service Time (Minutes)

Horeca Service Time Multiplier Multiplies the minimum service time floor for Horeca orders only (e.g. 1.5 × 10 min = 15 min).

Stop Approach Overhead (Minutes per leg) Added to every leg for start/stop, parking, and reaching the shop — on top of drive time.

Advanced Routing (Fleet & Zones)

2. Iterative Minimum-Fleet Search

Routing mode Cluster mode partitions today's orders by saved polygons (NEP-aware fleet filter).

Minimize Fleet Size (binary search) Finds the fewest trucks needed. Uncheck for a single faster pass using max available vehicles.

Max Fleet Search Iterations Each iteration runs the full solver (~3–5 min). Use 0 for unlimited, 1–3 for faster runs.

Solver Time Limit (seconds) How long OR-Tools searches per routing pass. Default 90s. Try 180–300 for large order files (400+ stops).

3. Zone Clustering & Driver Preference

Enable Zone Clustering (Driver Preference) Keeps each driver's route within a geographic zone (angular sector from depot). Reduces criss-crossing and improves driver familiarity. Enabled by default.

Angular Sectors City is divided into this many pie-slices from the depot. 8 = 45° slices.

4. Load Balancing

Enable Load Balancing Distributes cargo weight evenly across drivers while still minimising vehicles and total cost.

Dispatch & Execution Rules

5. Dynamic Dispatch (15-min cycle)

Enable Background Dispatch (Auto) When enabled, a background thread checks pending orders every 15 min and dispatches Quick Horeca & Quick GT orders automatically. Requires server restart to take effect.

Delhi Exclusive City Zones Delhi orders only share vehicles with other Delhi orders. Noida / Ghaziabad / etc. may still mix.

Strict Horeca Delivery Horeca stops are routed first and must arrive at least 1 hour before the slot start.

🌧️ Emergency / Extreme Weather Mode Serves all Horeca orders first with minimum vehicles. GT orders are greedy-filled or deferred.
